Thickness sander question

Hey there,

Was at the space today and wanted to use the thickness sander. The power button starts the sanding drum, but the conveyor belt doesn’t start. I looked at the manual on my phone, but it wasn’t super clear and I had other stuff to work on, so I moved on.

So…how does one get the conveyor belt to move?

There is a rotary dial that turns on the belt and controls the speed. The feed belt and the sanding drum have separate controls.
