There's a new sherriff in town

I’ve been activated by the Guard to assist with hurricane relief. I will check in when I can, but as with the last two weeks while I was on my training mission I’m leaving @mreynolds (assisted by the ever lovely @uglyknees I’m sure) in charge. Please do not expect any kind of timely response from me personally until my mission is complete. Y’all will know as soon as I do when I’m coming back.

In the meantime, please keep my battle buddies and I in your thoughts and prayers.

Be as safe as you can be, and good luck.

I was activated for Hurricane Katrina. It was quite an experience. You will likely never forget what you see and who you help. I certainly haven’t.

Thank you for your service. One of the greatest things about the National Guard is the dual mission: State and Federal.

Best wishes for your trip. Be safe.

We will watch the home fort and Steven knows he can call me any time for whatever. Thank you my friend. You and your brothers and sisters in the service are indispensable and we thank you for all you do.

Think of all the retirement points you’re racking up!

You’re doing us proud! Do we need to send a care package?

RE care package, there’s no guarantee ill be here any significant amount of time. We still don’t know our mission.
RE retirement points I’m out Dec 12, don’t need them. ( @Josh_Melnick don’t enlist to find out LOL)
