So, I have been running OctoPi on a Rapberry Pi 2 for my Printrbot Metal simple; however, I am not very happy with the setup.
I just acquired a Banana Pi, which I believe is what we are using for the Octoprint. Could someone point me to the image we are using as well as the 3D printed case for our setup?
What don’t you like about it? I have been running Octo on a Pi2 and I haven’t had any issues…even use the camera to keep an eye on the print.
To start with I have had two failures of the Raspberry Pi 2. One appears to be something with the power supply circuitry (haven’t got around to diagnosing it yet) and the other, the ‘snap in holder’ on the micro sd slot just failed… Not like I was putting the boot image in and out of it – it just ejected the card all on its own one day.
Finally, I have had problems when looking at the web page with the live camera causing pausing with the print. Not saying the problem couldn’t be solved, but since the spaces version seems to work in a much more intensive environment I would prefer to not fiddle with anything and just make use of the same setup.
I got my RPi to crash using octoprint… Banana pi says, Honey Badger don’t
care.

That would be great! Do you have the stl files for the cases that we printed for the Banana Pi/Octoprint?
No… BUT I do have others.
