Meet WayWard Fluke Meter 115 - or simply WayWard

WayWard’s home/point of origin is the tool box in the Electronics Lab - the ELab.
WayWard’s home is marked on its case - for all to see.
Some while back I noticed WayWard was missing.
No longer amongst its friends in the tool box.
Fearing that WayWard had been taken far away from its loving home at DMS,
I asked if anyone had seen WayWard. “No” was the answer.
And then one day a member said they had seen WayWard.
“Where?” I exclaimed.
And I was led to the Woodshop.
Where a drawer in a cabinet next to the multicam was opened.
And there laid WayWard
Covered in dust
Crying “Why was I left here? What have I done to deserve this? I miss my friends.”
Who would be so cruel, so mean to not return WayWard to its home?
Fortunately this saga has a happy ending.
WayWard has been returned to its home and is happy once again amongst its friends.

And the moral of the story is…

Ya’ know – if I’d seen WayWard, and he said he belonged in Electronics, I would’ve put him there…

I was hoping if we start with enough meters and put them together in a dark place they may multiply. Hasn’t happened yet, maybe need to play some music in the eLab? Bum, chika bow wow.

Sounds like a Science Project.
Throw in some DNA alterations and get:

Super Fluke w/ 8 red/black hairy legs…:astonished:
Scurries across the bench to your next project.
Able to find its way home on its own.

There should be some intro to E Lab classes that tells what all is in there and where it goes? :wink:

Yeah… I’m sure some grammar teachers from my past are rolling their eyes.
Ironically a large part of that came together while running the floor grinder next door.
