Where are they supposed to live? I thought they lived in the Interactive, but I have yet to come teach in Purple that I haven’t to move one or two of them out. I bring two tool cabinets from CA in there to teach my class and there’s no room in there for them then. Just wondering if I’m putting them where they go and/or if I need to move them back into Purple after my class.
Ugh…
We built too many of them when we moved in, and I think they’re finally getting in the way.
One should technically live in each classroom, methinks.
@bill and @stansimmons ?
One usually lives in the Purple Classroom and another in the Lecture Hall.
The rest live in the Interactive Classroom. People sometimes roll one out to the Common Room or even the Workshop.
If the Purple Classroom is too crowded, you can consider folding up one or two of the tables and leaning them up against the back wall.
Different kinds of classes want differing furniture layouts. I want to have enough tables knowing they can be temporarily set aside.
Those things just have a big footprint…so you’re suggesting I lose one or two tables to store a fixture I don’t use in class? Guess I’ll just keep dealing with it as I have been. It’s enough of a pain moving the cabinets, but I’ll just keep playing musical chairs with the white boards, too, in the meantime. Thanks.
You could roll it to just outside the door to the Common Room for your class and back in afterward.
If you don’t like the foot print on the white boards you could mount one of them to the wall. They are on hooks on the bases.
Yeah, I had been putting them in interactive during my class, bUT didn’t move them back into Purple because I thought Interactive was their home. Just thought I’d ask since it’s little bit of a hassle to move the boards out to move the cabinets in and then move it all back after class and I have to find help moving them…no worries.
