The blue wall lines between workshop and wood shop

So in reading the meeting minutes from last night I noticed that we are proposing blue tape lines on the floor to ‘establish’ the boundaries.

It reminded me of this

Les Nesman and his walls

There lines are already there, we just officially recognized the DMZ as woodshop.

Maybe so, but as I said, I am reminded of Les Nesman. That we need such things is indicative of a problem, in my opinion.

Almost all of the areas in the workshop are taped off to indicate the boundaries. It helps keep things organized, since there are no walls like the rest of the space.

I must admit, I have not noticed any such taped areas, with the exception of what I had presumed was a joke; 'The Franken Zone" around the HAAS and its associated “Franken way” for @frank_lima

I still find the taping of areas, especially in the context of the board agenda item last night to be both a sign of an underlying problem, and a bit humorous. Much like Les…

Maybe off topic, but for lines on floor, I recommend 3M 764 Vinyl tape, you must be sure to get the floor absolutely clean before applying it (sweeping, mopping, then using compressed air), but then it stays pretty good as long as you don’t spill gas or brake fluid on it.

[/quote]I had thought the lines were also to clearly indicate egress paths and keep them open.

Don’t put any blue tape on any computer equipment…PLEASE!

You’re 20 days late… no one was mentioning putting blue tape on computers.

I know, it was a joke alluding to the time someone blue-tape commented a computer monitor.
