Accounting for approximately .28% (1/4 of 1%) of the Texas Economy (assuming 3.83).
I’ll say that the 3.83 at 23k is in line with 3.64 @ 20k.
I’d say that I’m not super supportive of a lot of things that contribute to the coffers (I do like guns tho…).
Government thinking: If it is legal - tax it. If it’s illegal fine it.
As a comparison, AT&T (based in North Texas) had a 4th quarter revenue of 160 Billion. Not a true apples to apples comparison as Revenue =/= economic impact, but large numbers abound these days.
