Terra Sigillata is an ultra refined clay slip that is used to create a smooth, velvet-y texture on your pottery. This can be used alone, for sgraffito, or in advance of raku firing to provide a better surface for absorbing smoke.
I just submitted a class for December 1st @1pm which should be live in a few days. If you are planning on the December raku firing, this is a great way to make your horsehair come out super sharp and clean.
