Temporarily Removing the Thunder bed

Is it okay to remove the bed in Thunder?

It can accommodate up to 9-and-change-inch-tall objects to be engraved/cut.
I need 10.5 or so.

The ONLY person who can give you permission to do that is the Chair of Laser, which I believe is @PearceDunlap

Due to the very large size of the bed it’s not very stable when not sitting on it’s frame in the machine. I advise against removing it. It’s ultimately up to @PearceDunlap as chairperson of the laser committee.
