I bought a box of Taig lathe parts at a garage sale a few years ago for next to nothing. If you have use for them, you can have them for nothing. Machine Shop has first dibs.

@tbjk, @keoliver, @BobKarnaugh … AFAIK, the only thing in common between the two is the 3/4-16 thread on the headstock spindle. The bed dovetails are different angles and the toolposts are different heights.
That chuck looks nice and Machine Shop should grab it - it will fit on the Sherline. I can’t tell if I see a faceplate in there but that should fit also.
I’d love to have anything Machine Shop doesn’t want. I can put it to good use.
Can I leave the box somewhere in the Machine shop (or somewhere) this afternoon?

I’d agree we can use the chuck.

It’s a 4-jaw independent. I put it in the drawer with the Sherline lathe chucks. None of the other parts will work on the Sherlines.
