SVSeeker Open House

There is a guy in Tulsa who is building a boat (svseeker.com). To say this guy is a Maker is like saying Michael Phelps can dog paddle. The boat is 70 feet long, an all steel, welded, junk rigged motor sailor. For example, he designed the propeller in 3d, machined the blades on his (home built) cnc router, and cast them from bronze in his yard. Go look at his site. It is the ship that the Internet built.

He is throwing an open house this Saturday from 10am to 2pm. I plan on riding up there just to see it and meet him. Visits at other times are by appointment only.

Check out his site and you might want to go take a look.

Been Following this guy youtube. Very cool project, take pictures please. I’d go also, but I’m working on a fireworks display in Fate Texas.

The event in Fate is very fun, every one should try to go. Last year they had 8+ food trucks, plenty of carrnival games, bouncy houses and some damn nice fireworks. The fireworks are at exactly the minimum safe distance. If you go you might end up with a lap full of fallout like @apipe did.

You made his open house recap video.
