Howdy all, looking for a helping hand on either some training on the surface grinder or access to use. I’m aware of how the machine works but don’t have training or access to unlock. Is there anyway to get training and/or someone to let me know the code for the padlock?
The project I’m aiming for is… you guessed it surface grinding need to flatten a small fixed blade knife ever so slightly.
It does require training. I was thinking that there might be some QR code to lead you to a training video, but the wiki doesn’t say anything. And Source/Confluence is too much to track for me, yet.
edit: And all I see on Learn is the Bridgeport and the lathe.
If you are referring to the KMG belt grinder in the Blacksmith area, yes it does require training… The Blacksmith Rail Road Spike knife class I took covered the training. For this tool, you will need your own belts.
I will tag this to @Team_Blacksmithing to confirm and discuss other classes that will work.

Hey thanks for the response! The kmg is not the tool I’m referring to. I’m speaking of the surface grinder in the machine shop that is set up like a bench grinder with a moving table fitted with a magnetic plate.
