Support stands for Bridgeport-milling long pieces

Do we have these things? I have some 8-foot-long steel tubes and I could use at least two stands that are the same height as our Bridgeport mill’s horizontal cutting plane.

Can you (temporarily) pillage some from Woodshop? I’m reasonably certain they have one and possibly more.

There is one next to the Cold Cut Saw for that purpose.

Thanks John_Marlow and Photomancer,

I found FIVE in the Woodshop and a beefy one by the cold cut saw just like you two said.

use the one next to the cold cut saw. the woodshop ones are trash and prone to just collapsing as a heavy part shifts on them… learned that the hard way.

EDIT: we also have a roller stand in the metal shop by the chop saw.

I noticed how much stronger the metal shop stands are, thanks!
