For those of you who have watched Stranger Things on Netflix, you will find this interesting… for those of you who haven’t seen Stranger Things, you’re missing out!

Anyways when the fx team behind the series was making the monster, they used a FormLab 3d printer (like we have at Makerspace) to get something in their hands quickly. Here’s a pretty cool article explaining how they blended the digital model with a physical one:
