So many ball bearing slides and pivots - but looks well-executed in the video.
Imagine after a few years of wood warpage, sag, bearing rust, dirt underneath - probably takes a little more grunt work to open. But is a cool idea.
In terms of supporting large masses or long distances with extended drawer slides, I think supporting the far end when fully extended in order to relieve stresses on the slide would go a long ways toward making it work smoothly for many years.
