I’m seeking what I would call “sticky note storyboarding software”. I’m not clear how else to describe what I want, but https://stormboard.com sort of does what I think I want. What I really want, though, is something that works like “sticky notes” (on windows or Macs, if you’re familiar) but which can be saved off to physical media (hard drive, thumb drive, etc.), including orientation, grouping, color, font, etc. Effectively storing something like this
but digitally. I would like to have a fully portable application, so it could be run from a thumb drive, saved to a thumb drive, etc. despite the proliferation of “cloud” services and the fact that they provide “run anywhere” functionality, I really dislike them and would like to NOT require sign-in to use.Anyway. I assume it’s pie-in-the-sky, but I reckon a lot of you do a lot more collaborative work than I do, and might know of something you can recommend for when you do “storyboarding” or “brainstorming” or other organizational planning -type work.
Thank you for your consideration.
EDIT: oh yeah, free is best, but knowing pricing is more important than that.
