Even though the joy of wandering around drinking beer, eating fried food, taking your kids to pet a farm animal, take a spin on a ride or try to win a ginormous stuffed animal on the Midway isn’t happening this year, the fair is still promoting Texas Creativity in the annual Creative Arts Competition!

Including Miniature Butter Sculpture. Which I think could qualify as an extreme sport, given the heat outside. But - good news there! The deadline for entries in the virtual contests is LATER. September 21-October 4. Woo-hoo!
