I put together a “Customizer” Star Knob generator on Thingiverse. This allows the user to create customizable knobs for hand-tightening bolts. The diameter, height, number of points on the star, etc. can be configured interactively, then an STL file generated online. For even more control, one can download the Open SCAD file and tweak these ( and a few other) parameters in the code.
I plan to print some knobs for use with some woodworking jigs I’m building for my home tablesaw. This is why I put this together.
