Spring Photography Workshops - May 16th

On Saturday My 16th DMS will be hosting a series of photography workshops in conjunction with the Dallas Camera Club. We have five workshops scheduled that will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The classes are open to DMS members and there are seats available in all five classes. The topics and costs for each class are listed below. It’s worth mentioning that the cost of the class does include lunch.

As far as I can recall I think this may be the first time that we’ve held something on this scale in terms of classes and collaboration with an outside group. With that in mind it will undoubtedly require some patience and understanding from folks on that Saturday. The classes will be spread across 6 rooms at the space including the Common Area and there will be approximately 50-60 non members visiting DMS for the first time. This is a great opportunity to help establish DMS as a learning resource and facility and to show off our great space to a good group of folks.

The Dallas Camera Club has been around for over 80 years and has a long-standing tradition of promoting photography in a social and educational atmosphere.

The classes are all on the Events Calendar and sign-up is through Eventbrite.

The classes are as follows:

Portrait Lighting $40 (includes lunch and models)
Basic Photoshop for Photographers $20 (includes lunch)
Photographer’s Workflow in Lightroom $20 (includes lunch)
Focus Stacking, HDR, Panorama and other multi-shot techniques $20 (includes lunch)
Wide Format Digital Printing for Photographers $40 (includes lunch, ink and paper)
