Space rearrangement

Today was an impromptu “work day” for CA Chair, @BarkingChicken, and myself, with drop-in entertainment provided by DMS President, @Edenblue.

I wanted to work on rearranging the sewing room furniture and supplies to better accommodate a possible industrial sewing machine donation.

Shay was putting stuff away into the flat files and emptying the last of the “moving crates” so we could roll the new cabinets into place and flip flop a couple of the committee storage areas. When I finished with the sewing room, I also got the “zone signage” hung from the ceiling to help members locate the project tools of choice more easily.
When Shay and Malcolm headed home, @John_Marlow wandered over, and helped me finish getting the committee stuff switched, and then put some finishing touches on the new (to us) Viking machine setup. Thanks Chris! I think it looks good!

Still a bit more left to figure out, but I think we made a BIG push towards finding a home for everything and weeding out a lot of stuff into the dumpster.

I’d love to set up a work day soon with several sets of hands so that we can get those MDF shelves hung as I think that a lot of things will tidy up when we’ve got them in place.
