Because it takes so long to distill the essential oils, I don’t remember how you get from the oil infused alcohol to just the oils. Something about evaporating /boiling off the alcohol.
I found this journal article where they created a device where they’re basically pumping air into the flask as they boil the alcohol.
I’m not sure if that’s what we’re supposed to do, but if not, what do you think of the idea?
I’ve run the air pump (which I found in a box in the drawer) into the top of the flask. I’ve set the heat on 3 which seems to be just barely boiling (until you turn the air on.)
