Somewhat "needy" request for the Multicam

Sorry to be needy, but would anybody be willing to run a sheet and a half of plywood cuts on the Multicam with me. I have 4 toolswaps to do on each board, and estimate the process to take about 1.5 hours based on my last cuts.

For those that care, this is the project that I’m working on. http://www.instructables.com/id/Rubiks-cube-chest-of-drawers/?ALLSTEPS

It is an articulating Rubik’s cube dresser. Instead of making the cuts by hand, I decided to plot them out in vcarve. I’d be glad to share the final files with anyone if this seems like a project you’d be interested in.

I already have the files ready to go, I just need someone that is willing to take responsibilty for the machine, and has access.

Please understand that I’m not asking anyone to do the work for me. I have had a good deal of practice working with other excellent members on this machine, but have not been able to get into a class for various reasons so I can get checked out.

Please let me know if you would be willing to help a maker out, and when you might be available. I’m hoping to get these last peices cut out so that I can assemble next week.

I get off work at 3:30 on Thursday and teach a class at 8:30. I can help you out then.

I just remembered I need to pick my kids up from daycare Thursday, I won’t be able to help Thursday.
I should be at the space around 1 or so tomorrow though if you want help then.

Ryan,

That is extremely kind of you, especially since you were waiting on me to finish the last time. I will say tentatively yes for tomorrow. The only reason it is tentative, is that my priorities have just changed, as my wife just fell through the roof getting stuff out of the attic. She got pretty banged up, and I need to make sure she will be ok and able to get around tomorrow. We live an hour away, and don’t want to leave her stranded. I will check in with you in the morning to be sure.

I’d love to see how the train track came out. Do you have any pictures?

Thanks again for being willing to help. If it does not work out tomorrow, perhaps next week sometime?

Huge thanks to Ryan @somecallmery for assisting witht the Multicam. We both learned a great deal in the experience, and now I can move on to sanding and assembly. Thanks so much for helping a maker out.
