Soldering and Arduino & Motor Shield Help

Hello,

I recently joined DMS, and was hoping if I could get some help from someone who is familiar with soldering and has some experience with Arduino and motor shields.

Thanks in advance!

@bpamplin Brady teaches a lot of Arduino callas - contact him by PM for his future classes.

@mrhavens Mark has a class that may help you also.

Thank you for the quick reply and the information, will look into both of those!

@Photomancer Dumb question, but I’m having a hard time finding how to direct message/ PM exactly.

  • Click on your avatar (upper TH corner)
  • On dropdown, click on envelop
    image
  • click on New Message
    image
  • Complete message. All addresses start with an “@” like @Naveed_Haque
  • There is a minimum character to your response - it’ll let you know. That’s why you may see
"Yes and more characters" or “No 123456” and so on.

Hm, I seem to not have the “New Message” button.

If you are really new, I believe you’ll have to visits some posts, click on some Likes and such. Keep checking back, it should appear.

Anyone: is that correct? Been 6 years.

@Naveed_Haque - Welcome to Dallas Makerspace.

@Team_Electronics can turn up someone better at soldering than me. If not, I can help.

@Bernard_Gray did a class on Arduinos and motors. I’ve never used more than servos.

I have a class Tuesday night that is slightly overbooked. You are welcome to come but I will not likely have a parts kit for you.

I have submitted a class for next Saturday that will not hit the Event Calendar and open for registration for 72 hours - late Tuesday afternoon.

If you need a hand with soldering, Arduinos, or motor shields, contact me, I’d be glad to lend a hand.
There are plenty of folks in the Robotic group that are very familiar with the subject as well.
