Forgot to pay for my time on the Zing last night and will do so tomorrow when I come up for a class. That’s what I get for being on my feet making stuff for 12 straight hours. Whoops.

I would probably always forget to pay if I didn’t pick up an envelope as the first thing I do before I cut.
Getting the envelope is part of my sign in /sign off the queue routine.

I still think the Laser Committee should come up with some physical “reminders” you can grab or wear when you start a print job as a physical reminder to pay.
Think about bathroom keys connected to a block of wood or a giant sized spoon. They work because they are something physical or visual that act as a reminder.
It could be a lanyard or bracelet or block of wood or all 3. When you start using the laser, choose the one most useful to you.
This is DMS, we are creative. There could be a contest to make the most useful reminder form.

Could the screensaver on the computers be an animated image or slideshow “dont forget to pay for time” message?
I vote if you don’t pay three times, you get strapped to the laser table and have the DMS logo etched on your body parts.

I think I have a 35-lb lead brick laying around someplace. If not I know where to score one or three. 
Couldn’t we just rig the lasers like the Parks Pantry kiosk so you have to enter your card to start the process?
