Sketchup+.STL Question?

I have a clean install of sketch up, Had to uninstall yahoo toolbar and encrypt search from first efforts. so how d o I install .STL plugin? Sktetchup now has a nag to license software. This stroke has set me back to ground zero on what I learned, I want to make electronic enclosures and other simple geometric shapes which Sketchup does quite well.

There’s also an online/browser version now (you may or may not prefer). In the past, @frank_lima has seemed to be a member with advanced Sketch-up knowledge, but that may not be the case anymore.

That being said, a quick google search yielded this:

https://designerhacks.com/export-files-from-sketchup-to-stl

In fact, that site has a lot of S/U tutorials and stuff.

Thank you, I prefer my stuff on my computer and have avoided the browser version I’ll try drawing my ideas first to see if the could work. then move on to the next steps. I recently ran into Polyprinter 9" limits by way of example.

The new PolyPrinter at the space can go 9"Y x 20"X x 9"Z if that helps

At this point I’m just trying to get to the point where I can generate a .STL file I can print on older polyprinters
