This is a 3 day class totaling 20 hrs of classroom instruction as follows:
4 hrs on Friday Sept 6th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and 8 hrs on Saturday Sept 7 & 8th from 9:00am to 6:00pm with 1 lunch
In this class you will learn my method of steps and procedures to design and make a Marquetry pattern, choose veneers, cut the veneer pieces to create the Marquetry, Sandshading of the pieces to add depth and realism and how to glue it together, make repairs and finish it. Students will normally finish their Marquetry panel during this 3 day class.
All materials and tools to create your Marquetry (including the veneers) will be provided and are included into the Ticket price.
Tickets are only $350 for the entire 3 day class and open to the general public. All students must be over 18yrs old and be able to work safely with extremely sharp cutting tools.
