Can anyone teach or certify me on the metal chop saw? I have 3/4" angled steel that I need to miter. I am available for any day this week. Also, I don’t mind staying around to help clean or do odd jobs around the shop.

What saw are you talking about? Metal shop does not have a chop saw. They have a bandsaw.
Ahh… I heard their might be one. I haven’t toured the metal shop yet? What tool would you recommend? The grinder might take a while as I have quite a few cuts to do.
In the metal shop, there is the bandsaw. In the machine shop we have the cold saw. The cold saw requires training. The bandsaw in metal shop does not have a training requirement. The vertical bandsaw in machine shop also does not require training as well.
I’d like to join Joe’s request for training on that Cold Saw tool. I need it, too.
