Hi yall,

Can I get certified for hot work? I was just shown the welding area and ran some welds with Atlas

Hey everyone,

I would also like to get certified for hot work. Is there a formal process for doing this? I’ve got some basic oxy-acetylene and MIG experience. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Generally, you first take our Hot Process Safety. Should be one coming up in a couple of weeks. Then you either take a welding class, or talk to @rlisbona about getting a check-off.

Send me a private message with a paragraph describing what you will be wearing in the metal shop and your typical cleanup plans.

Or look for a hot process class on the calendar.

My wife is out of town so I’m limited to short playtimes till next week, we have an old dog.
