Greetings from the sewing room. Here are some beautiful bags utilizing fabrics left over from other (bigger) projects. There were no patterns or recipes for these bags, the makers used their imagination to come up with the designs. Fabrics were from previous quilt projects, messenger bags, pillow projects, and repurposed clothing (uniform top and saris).
Caution: this project can be addictive!
This raccoon bag is amazing! <3
Glow in the dark pottery fired in a Raku kiln. Future classes will involve mixing your glow-in-the-dark glaze and firing.

It comes in all the color of the rainbow. However blue and green are the brightest.
I “thread painted” my first piece ever for my best friend for his birthday. The original photo was taken by his wife on his birthday. I used a lot of tricks I’ve learned from some of the most talented people in Dallas – who spend a lot of time in the creative arts section at DMS. I also used a touch of adobe express to get the outline right with the lightbox. It’s done and gifted!

Made two end tables for my living room. Thanks to those that helped me out with tips in metal and wood working area. And for the training on the plasma cutter. The legs and cross bars are 14 guage steel and popular wood for the table top and lower shelf. Hard to see in the photo because of carpet however I did purchase adjustable feet for the bottom.
