Looking for a shipping company to use for Less Than Truck Load Freights
Hazel Hotshots is what we use at work. There are other hotshots too. Are you shipping local? If your not shipping local then there are several just freight companies that pick up from businesses. RTL, SAIA, even fedex has freight. They will come pick up. It’s cheaper if it’s business to business. Call them up, tell them what you have, how much it weighs & if it’s palletized. They will give you a price to ship anywhere you want.
Depending upon size and weight, it can reduce your costs if you can tell them origin and destination have loading docks
You can also reduce the cost if you are able / willing to drop off at the shipper’s terminal and vise versa for your customer
Ahh thanks! I’m ordering something all the way from El Paso so I went ahead and booked it through uship.com. On a side note does DMS have special privileges, being a 501(c)(3), when it comes to these type of situations.
No, we’re just another customer. Like pointed out, we have a dock which affects shipping rates for very large shipments.
