I donated one of these already for future use and it’s still in the bottom drawer of the red toolbox.

Time to start a shopping list:

  • 4 good sized castor wheels, 2 locking, 2 regular.
  • Lumber - I’d suggest 2x4’s and plywood for a frame however @themitch22 and I discussed another option last night; something modeled along the lines of the Multicam tool cart would perhaps be a new approach.
  • Vibration isolation material - I have some I can donate I think
  • And so on …

Did you include a regulator ?

If not, I’ll be happy to pick one up.

Can you elaborate? What would we be regulating?

The air pressure to the nozzle. I don’t think we’ll want to run it at whatever comes out of the air line from the compressor. Some reduction, and some fine adjustment will be in order. A dryer / oil separator might be a good idea too. Our shop air should be mostly dry, but a separator is cheap.

I’ll get all of the above and put them in the cabinet drawer.

Tangential question: Does anybody have the original Shapeoko housing files to cut a new case/housing with? I’m thinking @jphelps might know?

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, if we add that to the new build we’ll definitely need a regulator!

Calling @mreynolds!
