Sewing classes / intro needed

Hello!

I just joined DMS! I am interested in learning/trying clothes construction and sewing. Are there any classes? Or maybe someone is willing to show me around the workshop place?

There’s nothing on the Calendar/Events at the moment. There will be a Sewing Office Hours in a couple of weeks, and a Sewing Basic class, which is mostly intro to the sewing machines.

I see. And if I have some experience with sewing machines, am I allowed to use them? Or I have to take a some kind of training first?

We want you to demonstrate your proficiency before you can use the machines. Do you have evenings when you wouldn’t be available?

Thank you! I used Brother and Zinger back in my home country. Is it similar to what DMS has?

Our basic machines are Brother.
