We have remote light controls and will soon have an automated feeder ready for the aquaponics system. However, in order to do that, I need to deal with some port forwarded to make sure the services are exposed on the aquaponics controller.
How does one go about doing that?

Or you can do a reverse ssh tunnel to a device you control offsite.
I don’t think it would fair to change the firewall config when it only benefits one member on his personal project, along with it not being very secure overall. I would recommend doing some kind of private VPN between devices… the easiest would be exactly what Paul said.
Or pivot from the jump server if all you’re doing is accessing a port.
