Anyone have suggestions on a good place to rack servers.
Climate controlled, security, etc?
Most colos will be climate controlled. How many servers are you looking to store, and are they VMs or physical hosts? What OS, how many resources? What kind of security do you need? etc etc.
If you’re looking for a simple “data dump” server, look to AWS. If you’re looking for something a little more robust and under your control (customizations) and don’t mind Linux, then Softlayer has decent pricing.
