Serious wood CNC - Biesse Rover 20

I’d been tempted to prefilter this, but rather than have a “coulda had a deal” story, I’ll post here.

My brother, the (big) woodworking machine sales guy (see Timesaver thread) called me with a CNC machine deal because we’d talked about my wanting something. I’m not really a candidate for this for a number of reasons (three phase power, too big,) and I realize DMS almost certainly isn’t either.

The machine he has a lead on is in Denver. We’d need to make the deal today. He scores it as old and in excellent shape and thinks we could get it for $2.5 - 3K It’s a Biesse Rover 20 about 38" X 90" working area - this is an estimate.

With a 3 tool changer, boring block and 12 (? I think) head drill. It requires 3 phase power.

He figures it would cost ~$350 to move it to storage. We’d need to move it from Denver - either freight it or go get it. I suspect it’s too big for a pickup, but might fit with some dissaembly that would be needed for shipping anyway.
