Do we have a 3/8-24 threading die? I looked through the cabinet but apparently didn’t find the right container.
Also - I found a 12mm tap sitting on the table next to the Cameron drill press. I couldn’t figure out where it belongs so it’s just sitting on the shelf in the cabinet.
We should have one. It would be in a wood case with a black/orange sticker on the side with an “F” indicating fine thread set.
Check the red tool box in the common area opposite automotive. There are dies of many sizes in the bottom. However, that one is UNF so you might have trouble finding one. Other suggestion would be old heavy wood boxes in the machine shop cabinets opposite the mills.
Sorry, I neglected to mention it would be in the grey cabinet.
Aha! I had found that box previously but I didn’t think to look under the top tray with the handle.
