@mreynolds gave me a good tip for centering the image too.
Fold the shirt in half, left to right. Give it a quick 3 second heat press. unfold the shirt and now you have a center line for your HTV.
Make sure you put a piece of butcher paper on top of the HTV so as not to melt it to the press. Seems obvious, but you never know.
