Say goodbye to 123D Design

Closing the chapter on these easy to use 3d printing applications.

Moving on to Fusion 360. I suppose it makes sense, but 123d design was so easy to use. I favored it more than Tinkercad. I’m also not a fan of Fusion 360’s forcing you to save your projects in the cloud. I suppose I should get used to it. So what’s your pick for easy to use 3d design software?

I still use SketchUp for most of my work. But I’m usually edition already made models for printing. It also doesn’t file under “easy”

The others is use are fusion 360 and Houdini. Neither are easy but have great tutorials. Houdini is free

Dunno about easy, and it’s not meant for this kind of work , but I’ve been using Lightwave for a couple of decades now

Houdini is amazing but it’s a bottomless pit. I’ve been using it a decade and I still learn new stuff everyday.
