Sawstop blade stop missfire?

So I was cutting some particle board, no problems. I made my last cut, stepped away from the table, hit the stop button, and the blade stop triggered and dropped the blade.
The blade didn’t drop until I hit the stop button and at that point there was NOTHING in contact with the blade to trigger it.
Has anyone encountered this missfire before?
Also, we need a new blade for it now… If that wasn’t apparent with the rest of this post.

Edit: I have witnesses that can confirm I was in fact not cutting anything when the blade dropped. Am I still going to need to pay for the blade refit?

We will review the video and let you know. Thanks for informing us.

It’s not that I don’t believe you, just that we have to visually verify to make sure. It has misfired before.

Oh no no, sorry that’s not what I meant. I was just putting that there for reference

And this is why I use the other saw when possible.
