Not for everyone, but Sam’s memberships are “on sale” for ~$15. I took advantage of a similar deal a year or so ago and, for me, just the savings at the gas pump has paid for the cost of the membership.
Probably only really valuable if you live near one or have opportunity to regularly drive by, or have serious bulk shopping needs (e.g. a large family or shop for a group) that can benefit from an occasional excursion.
