Safety Lanyards Ordered - Free if you need one for when in Machine Shop

Machine Shop committee safety practices require any lanyards that go around the neck must be of the safety type that breaks away from the neck - not just detach at the end, so you can’t get pulled into the machine.

To promote safety, and remove any excuses for not having one, anyone who has taken training for a machine shop tool, can get stylist, breakaway lanyard - free!

Wearing this fabulous functional accoutre Machine Shop Blue lanyard declares you a Machine Shop Minion wise in the ways of safety and one of our own. (When operating a machine, stylist as it is, this piece of safety bling will be safely tucked inside to shirt.).

If you are on one of our Machine Shop Teams we can even Dye Sub that onto it. If you’re willing to be a an active Machine Shop Mentor we can put that on it so folks will know you’re someone they can easily approach to ask. Also if you’re a instructor we add HAAS Instructor, Lathe Instructor , etc. (a few of you may require two or three lanyards).

They’ll be inside the Machine Shop area after they come in. We will also offer them to all new members as welcoming item when they sign-up (I’m not above shamelessly promoting ourselves - those can be dye subbed Machine Shop Wanna Be … they even color coordinate with the Machine Shop Blue RFID Fob!)

w00t!

Please set one aside for me

I don’t think you have to worry about a shortage. He bought quite a bit if I remember correctly.

I think you underestimate the “Holy SHIT! Somebody else has something I don’t! MUST OBTAIN” -ness of some people…
Of course, we’ll all want the freebie, regardless of our status as users of the machine shop equipment.
Or maybe it’s just computer tech types that turn into cleptos at trade shows…

This will go well with a free badge retractor from a show and with the cc sized RFID card.

I bought an order of 100 … $31.01, no expense shared for the Metal Makers! Should be plenty.

If it helps promote a culture of safety, then they are welcome to have one. At 31 cents a piece, I think we can stand it.

Now that we have taken custody and stewardship of the Fire Safety Cabinet, I may put the hook on the side of it.
