Safety First: This is not OK for the powder coating oven

Please pardon me for butting in, but is that a 23xx series PID? It may be possible to set a range of allowed temperature input values. From the manual:
pidlock

We honestly arenā€™t sure; Iā€™d have to dissect the unit to get the stamp off it. Can try and do that tonight or tomorrow.

I taped up a paper copy of the sign. Have some ideas for a more long-term solution.

You should be able to walk through the setup on the front panel and see if those parameters show up as you step through the list. If they are, youā€™re good to set them, and if not, then you neednā€™t bother pulling it out. Just hold SET for 2-3 seconds until the display changes. Then each time you press SET, it will step to the next parameter. P-SL and P-SH are about a dozen steps in, IIRC.

I need to open up the side panel anyway; Iā€™ve been meaning to add a serial hookup if the unit supports it. Would make programming easier for many members if I wrote a serial script that tool an excel or CSV file.

Heads up, I moved the paper copy to the controller. Weā€™ll laminate it.

The door does get a little toasty
