In the Jeep hack, one has to wonder what kind of bean counter savings they were looking at to integrate entertainment and communications into the same can bus for the engine, brakes, etc.
Or was it a let’s do it because we can and it sounds cool to the boss kinda deal.

Next time try the web site EverySpec. Now granted, this site contains about every Military Specification, Standard, and Handbook. Everything on this site is FREE, your tax dollars at work. No matter what Standard you are looking for, I’d bet the Government has one similar to it. Try the Search function.
Now if anybody needs any UL Safety Standards (Underwriters Laboratories) I can get them for you. I used to work at UL and still have access to their Standards. Let me know.
