Ryobi 18V Lithium 4AH Batteries

Hey folks in Electronics, we have some Ryobi batteries that show no voltage when tested with a multimeter, so I was wondering if there was something wrong with the chip or contact maybe.

If anyone wants to, Logistics has 2 batteries that could use some debugging. We’ll be buying more regardless but it could be something fun to debug.

In my experience, one of the 18650 cells has died, and then shows no voltage across the terminals. The other cells are likely usable for a variety of things.

1)Break it open
2) Test the cells individually
3) ???
4) Profit! $!#/!!
