Rolling Mill questions

I know we have a Durston rolling mill. Does anyone know the model number, and/or capacity (flat width)? I seem to recall extension rollers - are those D-grooves or round?

This is driven by two things … one is that I’m updating the wiki, and the other is that I’d like to use it on some copper wire.

@AnneGullett - do you happen to know?

We have an F80mini, we have the set of extensions for half-round “D” 1.5MM-9MM, excluding 5MM.

  • Roll Diameter: 80mm x 45mm
  • Maximum Roll opening: 5mm
  • Flat surface 80 mm
  • half round grooves D on side roller

I have rolled som fairly heavy gauge copper wire, maybe 10-12 gauge I think might have been 8

And it can flatten a penny unlike our giant press. snicker snicker
