Or might be easier to get a sheet of copper in whatever thickness you want and cut it into strips.
The brilliant idea @paulstaf has is probably the next best thing. Copper is soft enough to cut using shears. And you would not need a big sheet, thus not needing long continuous pieces, since there are so many areas in your design where the patterns cross.

Maybe off topic at this point but I’d be a happy camper to see more jewelers tools around the space. I’d even be inclined to share my knoweledge in that case.
Might of found a closer alternative at a much lower price point. Flat Aluminum Wire.
I have some of the ultra low temp (~125) alloys that melt in water if you want to try that.
Come to the creative arts meeting tonight if you can - or talk to me - I would like the same.
I’ll shoot you a message and probably be there tonight as well. There’s some other things I’d love to participate in and help with relating to creative arts dept.
Love it! I’m excited to meet you!
Michael’s carries something similar but not as wide (16 gauge flat jewelry wire)
and Fire Mountain Gems carries 4mm wide flat jewelry wire in lots of colors.
