Used the search function, but I’m not finding clear guidance on how I would obtain a badge.
Is it something I can do myself or do I need assistance?

Today is Saturday, so if you go up to the makerspace and ring the doorbell someone should be able to let you in. There are RFID badges and computers in the common room where you can set it up in Maker Manager (someone should be able to show you how there).
Badges are found here at DMS. If you had one of our fobs, you could set it up. As a matter of fact, you need to be signed in (but in MakerManager, not the billing system) in order to link the fob to your account.
So, come on by. Ring the doorbell. Have you signed a waiver yet? The waiver is required before you can activate the fob.
