It turns out that some of our reagents were old, so we accidentally made dark grey / black mirror ornaments. If anyone is interested in a goth christmas party, let us know. We are going to get newer reagents so that we can reduce the amount of edge in our products.

As a curiosity, specifically what part of the chemistry failed?

We suspect that the silver nitrate oxidized. It sat in a cabinet doing nothing for 2-3 years. We are going to do a test with new reagents and post the results. I didnt use any of the test glass from glassworks yet, so we will post the results of those as well.
