RESOLVED: Trying to get feedback on suspending my account

I have had a problem getting anyone to help me sign in. Now I do it through Google. I am trying to suspend my account as I seldom go to the space. I have been a member since about 2 months since they moved to Carrollton. I have left emails to some parties but no response. It could be all my fault as I am a techno lame. LOL.

There is no difference between suspending and canceling your subscription.

In the ticketing/billing system ( accounts.dallasmakerspace.org ), you can go to services, request cancellation.

If you decide to sign up again later, just log into the same billing account before purchasing a new subscription, and all your permissions / stuff will carry over.

I am having a hard time signing in. It has been years since I tried to and forgot my email I signed in with so I cannot send a password request.

I still have gotten no response.

If you could come in saturday late morning Im sure one on the tour guides could help you suspend payments.
I could help you around 3.

Are you saying you’ve not received ANY of these emails (shown here from the WHMCS log)?

I’m saying no one has explained how I can access the system to cancel.

I’ve sent you the information about which email the system has. That’s where the link to reset your password will go. Do you have access to that email?

You go to this page. You will need to log in.

After that you go to My Services in the menu bar, select the membership plan that you’re trying to cancel, and there should be a cancel or request termination button on that page.

Once that’s done it should show up as canceled or pending, and you should receive an email stating such.

There is an entry in the Knowledgebase for that:
https://accounts.dallasmakerspace.org/accounts/index.php?rp=/knowledgebase/1/How-to-CancelorRejoin.html

It is my main email since 1985. When I type it in and ask to reset my password it does not send an email.

So, you receive OTHER emails from DMS, but NOT the password reset email?

I don’t get any emails from the space.

Email me at the jeffbob. This is getting old. I’ve been paying for almost a decade with maybe coming once a month. A phone call would work too. 903-203-9463.

I decided to stay but need to be able to access the site. The ticket for my potential cancellation is. 522345. Marshall Blatz is a friend and he gave me the ticket number. I realized that 50 a month is fair. It’s up to me to utilize the facility. Thanks. [email protected] is the best email for me.

Someone hacked my credit card. I have a new one but can’t get in the system. Can someone help me?

Email [email protected] from the email account that you used to sign up. This will create a ticket automatically bound to your account that an infra person can check out.

If I remembered the email or my password none of these emails would be necessary. It’s been years since I signed in and my computer was hacked about 5 years ago.

Okay, well email them from whatever email you want to use then, with some identifying piece of information.

If you know the possibilities of what your username was, include those. It’s almost impossible for us to look up by any sort of card number, and although looking up by names is possible, it doesn’t always work well.

If you explain that you’ve lost your account/you need help recovering it and the fact that you don’t know what email/etc, they should be able to help…
