It’s good that the power is out. I was looking to do only leather crafting with minimal distractions later tonight.
can the power stay out past sunddown?

If your sense of ethics sufficiently pliable and your vehicle is sufficiently … robust … to overcome the bollards protecting the transformer, it’s a distinct possibility.
A power outage condition might be a great use of the sms notification system we have in the building.
oh goodness i have a 1999 toyota avalon.
Oncor just updated the fix time to unknown.
I’ll be there for the class. If power is still out we’ll cancel and reschedule then.
Can someone @ pin logistics/ server room to maybe send out a mass sms to members so they can save a drive time?
Unless the sms system is completely down due to the power outage. I figured there might to be some cloud/ offsite option
We haven’t traditionally done anything like this. Of the 1900 members only a few would be visiting today. So i would hate to bother the 1800 members who didn’t plan on visiting.
Not gonna happen. Our phone system is without power, and as Luke says we aren’t going to bother 1900 so that maybe 100 would get the word.
There is already a pinned thread on talk and a banner on the camera page.
I’ll be doing the same thing as Nick. I’ll show up and if we need to cancel or postpone for a couple of hours I’ll be around.
Do you or anyone else have the ability to put a banner on the calendar page?
Not from here no, my other laptop is in PA.
Can you suggest someone else who can? @AlexRhodes ??
And I posted it on Facebook.
I just posted it to the main Facebook page while I still have access.
I’ll be on standby if postponing to later today is an option.
I figured out how to get in,

Let me know if you want any changes. Can you also please remind me to turn it off when the power is back lol
We might need a better status thread, since this one is open to anyones input, and has unnecessary conversation.
That’s great! Thanks!
I’m hoping that anyone who checks the location of their class, via calendar, may be spared a drive if there is no power.
We could request that updates be put into the title so people don’t have to read the whole thing to find the answer.
Don’t know how to do that (without making it inaccessible to the people who are onsite and have a legitimate need to post first-hand information) …
